We are now looking for you who are a biomedical scientist or have other relevant higher education in laboratory medicine for a permanent position at our pathological laboratory in Täby.

Biomedical Scientist in Histopathology for Pathology and Cytology

Do you want to be part of cancer diagnostics and contribute to high-quality laboratory work with the patient in focus? We are now looking for an engaged employee for our department within pathology and cytology.

About the Position

With us, you will have a varied and developing job where you work with both manual methods and modern instruments together with a professional and engaged team. The work is characterized by quality, precision, and close collaboration.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Processing/cutting of tissue samples
• Embedding and microtomy
• Staining of tissues including immunohistochemistry
• Distribution
• Quality work and continuous improvements in laboratory operations

You will become an important part of the diagnostic process where each sample represents a patient and where high quality is crucial.

We are looking for you who

Are a licensed biomedical scientist or have relevant higher education and experience working in histopathology. It is a requirement that you have practical experience with histopathological techniques.

Since the laboratory's documentation and instructions are in Swedish, you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
