Vårdcentralen Laröd is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with just over 7,000 listed patients and about 280 listed children at the associated Child Health Centre (BVC). We operate a branch in Mariastaden where we offer both emergency and booked appointments for doctors and nurses, as well as consultations for dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and BVC.

We are very proud of our good work environment, focusing on satisfied employees and patients as well as high care quality. For us, it is important to offer our patients good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence.

Around 30 engaged employees from various professional categories work in cross-professional teams here to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist physicians, trainee physicians, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. We offer BVC, doctor's clinic, district nurse clinic, specialist nurse clinic for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle, vaccinations, memory clinic, and elderly care clinic. Consultations for occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists are also included in our offerings.

We are also proud to be an Academic Primary Care Centre (AVC), which means research assignments from the Centre for Primary Care Research (CPF), by building bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies within areas such as lifestyle, mental health/illness, and hypertension. Since we have two docents working at the health centre, there are good opportunities for you who wish to combine research with your specialist physician position.

Job Description

We offer you an exciting and varied job where you have the chance to develop professionally.

Your duties cover the entire field of general medicine with planned and emergency visits, home visits, SÄBO (care for people with intellectual disabilities), and BVC. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to supervise ST-doctors (specialist trainees), AT-doctors (interns), and medical students. We also offer you the possibility of extra areas of responsibility based on your interests and the needs of the operation.

The distribution of the position is two to three days per week at the Mariastaden branch and the rest at Vårdcentralen Laröd. Part-time employment is available.

Qualifications

We are looking for a specialist physician in general medicine with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. You have extensive experience in Swedish healthcare. Supervision training and previous experience working in PMO and/or Melior are meritorious.

As a person, you are positive, flexible, and have a good manner of dealing with people. As we are a full-fledged health centre that wants to think new and creative in the increasing competition, we welcome you who are motivated by this and thrive working in a smaller unit. Furthermore, you are driven and take initiative for new ideas and working methods within the operation. You are confident in your profession and share your knowledge generously and without pretension. You also value working in a team but appreciate independent work.
