Every year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competencies. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us each year for work outside of Samhall.

The role of Area Manager

Being an Area Manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. You lead the work together with our employees who work in various customer assignments, and your primary objective is to ensure our employees have the opportunity to discover and develop their competencies so that, in the long run, they can leave Samhall for another employer.

In your daily work, you may also have contact with the customer and ensure that everything functions as it should. Through good relationships, you develop the business and find opportunities for more jobs for Samhall's employees.

Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customer is satisfied is therefore the very core of your assignment. That is why all efforts are directed toward creating the platform for you as an Area Manager.

What do we offer you?

Here you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience, and you also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

You become part of a large company with 24,000 employees and are surrounded by over 800 colleagues across the country who have the same role as you. Here you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the Operations Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where you, as an Area Manager, play a key role and where your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and able to make decisions with high integrity. Having experience from and thriving in an operation characterized by high tempo and with the human being at the center is a requirement. We also know that you are comfortable in the leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks included in a managerial assignment.

To be able to do a good job, you need to have:

• Leadership experience with personnel responsibility
• Operational experience in an operation with daily operations
• Experience in developing and motivating people
• Experience in customer contact and selling services
• Experience in facility management and Insta800 is meritorious
• Good computer skills
• At least upper secondary education
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Employment type: Fixed-term employment for 6 months

Start date: We see a need during August 2026 - January 2027. The exact period is determined in agreement with the current candidate.

Working hours: The position is full-time and the work takes place on-site at Arlanda. We work in shifts, morning or afternoon, weekends may also occur.

To be eligible for the position, you must be able to undergo a security clearance.
