The Workplace: Health Center Centrum

Health Center Centrum is a workplace right in the heart of Växjö, within walking distance of trains and buses, and close to both green areas and the city's pulse. Here, district nurses, ST and AT doctors, district and registered nurses, medical secretaries, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, rehab coordinators, and psychosocial resources work together to form a stable and good team.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a District Nurse/Registered Nurse at Health Center Centrum is varied and educational. You meet patients of all ages and life situations; some we see very rarely and others more regularly. We work health-promoting and disease-preventive, but also with acute symptoms.

Your duties will include, among other things, reception work, counseling via phone and video visits, as well as time booking. If you are interested, we would like work in one of our specialist clinics to be part of your daily work.

As a District Nurse/Registered Nurse within primary care, you also contribute your competence to our emergency doctor center in Växjö. There, we are available for our citizens on weekends and weekdays after 5 PM. Many share this task, and if it becomes relevant for you, you will receive a special introduction to the emergency doctor center to feel secure.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed District Nurse or Registered Nurse. Being a licensed District Nurse is an advantage. We would appreciate if you have previous experience of reception work with a special focus such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, or incontinence.
