RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Rehabilitation (Kommunrehab) is the department within the Care Administration responsible for rehabilitation and preventive work in care services, and we are now looking for a new physiotherapist.

As a physiotherapist in Community Rehabilitation, you work with patient rehabilitation, both directly and through supervision of relatives and care staff, as well as through a daily-life rehabilitation approach. We play a vital and exciting role in the rehabilitation process after hospital discharge, working problem-solution oriented with the patient to achieve the highest possible degree of independence. We set goals in the patient's everyday environment through activity and participation. Our main target group is elderly people living in their own homes.

You are interested in working with municipal rehabilitation in both ordinary housing and special housing. We work in teams in close collaboration with occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, assistive technology technicians, and other care staff, and you must feel confident making independent home visits to patients.

Our physiotherapy group consists of 20 employees with good competence within the profession. We are a great team that supports each other, shares knowledge, and there is always someone to bounce questions off of. We encourage you to take HMC (Manual Handling of Clients) training and manual handling training during your first year at Community Rehabilitation.

We work daytime Monday–Friday with good opportunities to influence working hours through flexible working agreements. We operate from new and modern premises at Mejselgatan 4 in Växjö. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, and it is meritorious if you have experience working as a physiotherapist within municipal operations. We place great importance on good collaboration and planning skills, high social competence, and flexibility. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as basic computer skills. A driver's license is required for the position.
