We are currently seeking 1-2 locum junior doctors within the orthopedic section at the new surgery and orthopedic clinic at Ljungby Hospital.

Job Description

As a junior doctor at the clinic, you will gain experience in emergency, ward, and outpatient work, as well as participating in acute and planned orthopedic surgeries.

We hire all our new colleagues with the intention of building a good team. Therefore, we have supervisors attached to all junior doctors and specialty trainees (ST doctors) at the clinic so that supervision and planning for education take place. Since we are a small clinic, the team works closely together, and there is good access to close supervision in outpatient, ward, and surgical settings.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Previous experience of clinical work in an orthopedic unit as well as completed ATLS training is meritorious.

You have a good manner and always work with the patient in focus. The ability to work humbly in a team is important. You have good communication skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
