The clinic consists of an inpatient ward, outpatient care with reception and treatment unit, a radiotherapy unit, and a palliative advisory team. In total, we have approximately 120 employees.

About Ward 40

Ward 40 is the oncology clinic's inpatient ward with 18 beds. Here, we work in teams with a holistic perspective around patients with oncological and hematological diseases in curative or palliative stages. With us, you become an important part of a multidisciplinary team where you have the opportunity to see the whole patient and their relatives. You work with advanced healthcare technology and help develop future cancer care.

Allowance for inconvenient working hours

The shift allowance is multiplied by 1.5, giving you an extra allowance if you work full-time according to a rotation schedule.

Reduced working hours

In rotation schedules where night work covers 10 hours, you are allocated 4 extra hours to your annual balance. This enables flexibility in scheduling and gives you more time for recovery.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work with both emergency care and palliative care, which provides a varied and developing job. You have the opportunity to alternate between many healthcare technical procedures and psychosocial care. In addition to the usual nursing tasks, you will, after completing specific training, also have the opportunity to administer cytostatic treatments and thereby gain a deeper understanding of the whole picture.

We work in paired care with a nurse and a nursing assistant.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, or oncology nurse, with a strong sense for the patient meeting and good nursing knowledge. It is meritorious if you have previous experience of oncological/hematological care. You value good collaboration and want to contribute to the achievement of the operation's goals by being engaged in your work. You feel confident handling both planned and acute situations and have good prioritization skills.

We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language. Additional language skills are meritorious.
