About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and engaged Kitchen Assistant for our restaurant located on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm.

In this role, you are responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen and serve as a key link between the kitchen, service staff, and suppliers. You will work both operationally in the kitchen and with planning to ensure an efficient and well-functioning business.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation and leadership in the kitchen.
• Plan and coordinate food production and the dispatch of orders.
• Coordinate and support other employees in their daily work.
• Manage orders and contact with suppliers.
• Responsible for storage and purchasing of goods.
• Ensure order, hygiene, and food safety according to current regulations.
• Participate in the restaurant's daily operations and contribute to efficient running.
• Handle basic operation, maintenance, and management of equipment used in ramen production.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen is required.
• Experience in leadership or coordination is an advantage.
• Good organizational skills and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and make own decisions.
• Experience in purchasing and supplier contacts is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ramen production as well as handling and basic maintenance of ramen-related kitchen equipment is an advantage.
• Good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude.
