Main Responsibilities

• As a Store Associate, you will take significant responsibility for ensuring our customers can easily find what they are looking for.
• Together with your colleagues, you will manage the varied and physically demanding daily operations of the fruit and vegetable department.
• You will ensure our shelves are well-stocked and that our store is clean and tidy.
• Together with your colleagues, you will focus on positive customer interaction, sales, and maintaining the highest quality. You will become an important part of the chain leading to an inspiring shopping experience.

Position details: Permanent position of 35 hours per week. Probation period applies.

Start date: 2026-07-27 or as agreed.

Working hours: Your schedule will vary between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

What We Expect

Being interested in food and enjoying working with customers and sales is a prerequisite for the role. Below you can see what else is expected of you as a Store Associate at Hemköp:

• You should be good at working in a team, be thorough, and quality-conscious. Additionally, you should enjoy a fast-paced environment.
• Together with your colleagues, you will manage the daily operations of the store. This means, for example, that you are service- and sales-oriented, but also that you have an eye for both details and the big picture.

Applicants should have previous experience working in a store, preferably in the fruit and vegetable department, or equivalent valuable knowledge, and be ready to take the next step as responsible for a department. In reference to the Working Environment Act (Chapter 5) and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8 and Appendix 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the tasks.
