Stimulite AB seeks staff for new medical technology production in Kungälv
Stimulite ABVästra Götalands län, Kungälv
Previous experience is desired
Stimulite AB establishes world-leading medical technology production in Kungälv – we are looking for new employees!
Do you want to be part of the team from the beginning and help build a new Swedish production facility for a world-leading medical technology product?
Stimulite AB has acquired the entire business behind the well-known Stimulite wheelchair cushions, which have been manufactured in San Francisco, USA, since the early 1980s. We are now moving production to Kungälv and seeking engaged employees who want to join us on this exciting journey.
About Stimulite
Stimulite wheelchair cushions are medical devices used to prevent pressure ulcers and sitting sores. The products are sold worldwide, with the USA, Germany, Italy, and Sweden being our largest markets.
In Sweden, our products are delivered to all regions, which prescribe the cushions to users. Stimulite AB has had agreements with all regions in Sweden for many years.
About the Production
We will launch our new factory in Kungälv in August. To ensure a smooth transition, experienced employees from the previous factory in the USA will be on-site to train and support our new organization.
Manufacturing is based on TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a material used in many medical technology products. Through a series of production steps, the unique honeycomb structure is created, which has made Stimulite a world leader in its field.
Production takes place completely without glue or other chemicals – only using heat, meaning the final product consists of 100% TPU.
We manufacture approximately ten different product models, customized to each user's needs. The combination of different widths and depths means we handle around 600 different product variants. This places high demands on quality, precision, and accuracy in production.
