Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centres or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for you who are a trained nurse and want to be part of our team at Samariterhemmet Health Centre. We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement.

Your Role

As a nurse at the health centre, you will have a varied job where you work, among other things, with triage and advice via phone, messages/chat via 1177, and in direct meetings in scheduled clinics. You work in collaboration with other professions. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with experience from primary care. We are looking for you who are positive, have a flexible working style, and good ability to collaborate with others in the team, while also having the habit and drive to work independently. We believe you have the ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the clinic. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Samariterhemmet Health Centre is located in central Uppsala, a stone's throw from the Travel Centre. Our health centre is a large operation with approx. 13,800 listed patients. Together we are over 70 employees, and all professional areas within the health centre's mission are represented. The broad variation of patients creates a developing workplace. We work in teams. Since 2019, we have been an academic health centre. An academic health centre has fundamentally the same mission as other health centres and offers its patients the same care as before. What differs is that we have employees who are also researchers and work with development projects and education, including quality assurance and development of the clinical practice-based education. In addition to regular staff, there are also clinical pharmacists, university lecturers, and clinical adjuncts.
