We are now looking for a Preparer (Beredare) for one of Sweden's leading companies within the energy and power sector. Here you will have the opportunity to combine technology, problem-solving, and project understanding in a role where you help develop the electricity grid of the future.

Information about the position

As a Preparer, you work on developing technical solutions for new construction, reinvestments, and maintenance of electricity distribution networks. The role involves broad responsibility where technology, economics, documentation, and coordination meet in daily work.

You will have many contact points and collaborate with landowners, customers, authorities, contractors, and internal project organizations. The work involves both office work and field visits to create the right conditions for upcoming projects.

You will be employed through Sodajo Consulting and work as a consultant for our client.

Responsibilities

In the role of Preparer, you have broad responsibility, driving projects from idea to finished solution. You work on developing technical solutions for electricity distribution networks and ensure that projects have the right conditions from both a technical and economic perspective. The work involves performing network calculations, preparing estimates and cost bases, as well as being responsible for documentation and material handling.

You will also have a central role in contacting landowners, authorities, customers, and contractors, where you coordinate various stakeholders and ensure that the project can be carried out according to plan. Through continuous follow-up and quality assurance, you contribute to projects maintaining high quality, while actively participating in the development of the business's working methods and processes.

Competence Requirements

We are looking for you who have an electrical engineering background and thrive in a role where you can combine technology, structure, and collaboration.

Perhaps you currently work as a Preparer, Designer, or Distribution Electrician and want to develop further within electricity distribution. You may also have experience from related roles within power systems where you have gained understanding of network construction, design, or contracting activities.

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering education or equivalent work experience
• Experience in electricity distribution, power systems, or contracting activities
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing

Meritorious experience includes:

• Aerial lines, underground cable networks, and substations
• EBR (Electricity Business Regulations)
• Designer work
• Contract management
• Contract law
• Estimating and tender work
