Could you be the full-time Maintenance Engineer in Luleå we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the material supply and technical support agreement project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including maintenance, supply chain, reliability, and safety teams), manage maintenance documentation, obsolescence issues, and technical quality investigations.

We’ll look to you for:

• Ensuring quality and reliability of material and services provided to the customer.
• Proposing and driving changes and optimizations of maintenance methods.
• Supporting the customer with preparing and managing maintenance documentation, ensuring it is updated, consistent, and compliant with contractual and regulatory standards.
• Identifying hazards and managing safety-related items during chosen maintenance activities.
• Conducting risk assessments for proposed changes and authorizing maintenance concession requests.
• Supporting obsolescence management, troubleshooting, and MMIS (Maintenance Management Information System) setup.
• Providing return-of-experience (Rex) to relevant teams.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 1-3 years of experience in railway activities.
• Knowledge of rolling stock equipment.
• Understanding of railway subsystems.
• Experience in direct contact with suppliers and customers.
• Experience in problem-solving and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).
• Capacity to assess and manage technical risks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective, professional interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English.
