Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for ensuring our customers feel secure, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.

ISS has an exciting collaboration with a client in the automotive industry that has several sites in Sweden. For Umeå, we are now looking for an Electrician for our operations and maintenance assignment with the client. Do you have a technical background in electricity and enjoy developing, optimizing, and providing exceptional service? Apply for this position with us!

About the Role

We take responsibility for providing you with the best conditions and support you need to succeed with our client. You will become part of a motivated team. In the role of Electrician, you will, together with your colleagues, work with the daily operations of our services. The tasks include planning and performing maintenance, repairs, assembly, and installations in buildings in both office and industrial environments.

You will make decisions regarding and perform supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of the client's electrical installations within the scope of our commitment. The tasks also involve troubleshooting and analyzing problems within electrical systems and identifying deficiencies in the labeling of technical systems. You are responsible for ensuring the building's electrical system meets current functional requirements and contributes to increased customer satisfaction. We consider it natural that you continuously work on improvements, documentation, and participate in and execute various projects for the client.

This is a permanent position starting with a 6-month probation period. Shift work and on-call duties may be included in the role.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have an electrical technical education and at least 5 years of experience working as an Electrician. You need to have very good theoretical and practical knowledge of technical installations in buildings, preferably industrial buildings, as well as knowledge of electrical documentation. We also see that you have documented education and/or experience in control and regulation technology. We would appreciate it if you had certificates for Hot Work and Lifts. You need to have ECY and a B-driver's license. ESA is meritorious.

We believe you are a person who takes great responsibility for your work and is driven to perform various tasks professionally with high quality. Furthermore, you are meticulous and methodical in your execution. You also have a good understanding of the impact technical systems have on operations and have the ability to analyze and explain relationships. You can prioritize and dare to make your own decisions in sharp situations. To thrive in the role, we see that you, just like us, value service and contribute to a positive atmosphere and good cooperation in the workplace.

You have very good communication skills that you adapt to the situation and individual. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have basic IT skills – e.g., Microsoft Office and case management systems.
