Who is Jefast?

Jefast is a family-owned property company that has been active in Helsingborg since 1977. We manage approximately 75,000 sqm distributed across 13 properties – roughly 70% commercial tenants and 30% residential.

We are a tight-knit team that thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a lot of problem-solving and a daily routine where we constantly test, tweak, and improve processes and properties. Our properties are largely located in central Helsingborg, which means we work close to our tenants and can act quickly.

About the role

We are looking for a building technician/maintenance worker with a strong focus on troubleshooting and more qualified measures. You step in when cases require more than daily operations: you troubleshoot, identify the root cause, and rectify issues where possible, while coordinating with contractors when necessary.

You work independently but also closely together with property managers, landlords, and the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
• Actions within e.g., HVAC, ventilation, control & regulation (and simpler electrical work that does not require certification)
• Supervision of technical installations
• Coordination with contractors and follow-up
• Documentation and feedback to tenants
• Rounds of interior/exterior environments as needed

Requirements

• Experience in property maintenance or technical work
• Technical knowledge within HVAC, ventilation, control & regulation, simpler electrical work, or similar
• Good understanding of property operations and installations
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility

Qualifications that are a plus

• Education in building technology, electrical, HVAC, or equivalent
• Experience working in fault reporting/case management systems
• Professional certification or certificate in relevant technical areas
• Experience with commercial properties
