About Trehörna 7
Trehörna 7 is a group home with five places for people with autism and/or mild intellectual disability. The group home is located in Urshult, Tingsryd Municipality, with proximity to nature, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transport. In the operation, 13 residential support workers and a group manager work.

About the role
In the role of residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work with the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends. The operation has a needs-based preference schedule, which gives you influence over how your working hours are arranged.

You have a group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation.

Your experience and knowledge
You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the target group as well as previous experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and Sign Support. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
