As a Forklift Driver with extended responsibilities via Lernia in Varberg, you will play a key role in production by handling internal logistics, ensuring smooth flows, and contributing to the team's efficiency. This role is ideal for you if you hold a forklift license, have practical experience from warehousing or production, and are looking to take a step towards greater responsibility within the team.

About the Role

In this position, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts for internal transport, loading and unloading, as well as material handling according to instructions and safety routines. You will also have extended responsibility for maintaining order in warehouse areas, reporting deviations, and supporting the planning of flows and inventories. The work is operational and takes place in close collaboration with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport materials and products internally using a forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks and pallet handling
• Maintain order, traceability, and labeling in warehouse areas
• Participate in and support warehouse inventories and follow-ups
• Report damages, deficiencies, or deviations to the supervisor
• Follow company safety routines and contribute to a safe working environment
• Support simpler administrative tasks related to flows and documentation

About You

You are responsible, structured, and thrive in practical work where quality and safety are prioritized. You work well in a team, can take initiative to improve workflows, and are flexible regarding varying tasks. You are meticulous in handling and labeling goods and understand the importance of reporting deviations.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license A and B
• Experience working as a forklift driver and confidence in operating the vehicle
• Good reading skills for instructions and simple documentation
• Basic IT or terminal proficiency for registration and picking lists
• Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Knowledge of safety and quality routines in an industrial environment
• Additional machine or certificate qualifications (e.g., crane, CE forklift)
