On behalf of our client within infrastructure, we are now looking for a Construction Manager for a long-term consulting assignment (planned duration 2026-08-17 - 2028-12-28).

About the role – Construction Manager Occupational Health & Safety (OHS-U)

We are currently seeking an experienced construction manager within occupational health and safety (OHS-U) for a major infrastructure project in Solna. This is a long-term consulting assignment where you will work closely with project management and contractors to ensure a safe working environment during the construction phase.

You will become a key part of the project's OHS-U organization, responsible for monitoring and coordinating occupational health and safety work in complex construction projects.

Responsibilities – Construction Manager Occupational Health & Safety

As a construction manager within occupational health and safety (OHS-U), you will:

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, requirements, and guidelines

• Monitor contractors' systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM)

• Review work preparation plans from an occupational health and safety perspective

• Lead and document safety rounds

• Take minutes and follow up on occupational health and safety meetings

• Support project management and construction management in occupational health and safety matters

• Handle and analyze near misses and accidents

• Ensure the project meets established occupational health and safety goals

• Perform spot checks and control of contractors' self-inspections

You collaborate daily with contractors, where English is often used in communication.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bas-P and Bas-U training (minimum 16 hours)

• At least 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety coordination in construction or infrastructure

• Experience as an OHS-U or occupational health and safety coordinator in projects with a budget over 100 MSEK

• Experience handling occupational health and safety issues between clients and contractors

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Desirable Competencies

• Experience with projects in an international environment (English in daily use)

• Experience with large projects involving multiple contractors

• Experience from the structural completion phase

• Training/experience in occupational health and safety legislation
