The Business Area Imaging and Function at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) covers the specialist areas of medical radiology, neuroradiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, as well as clinical neurophysiology. Alongside our clinical operations, we have a significant educational and research activity. The Section of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine is now seeking a Resident Physician (ST-läkare) in Clinical Physiology.
Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine performs advanced diagnostics with high medical quality and close collaboration with other specialties. We operate in both Lund and Malmö, meaning the work can be located in either city. The activities include, among other things, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, cardiac MRI, exercise and lung physiology including ergospirometry, arrhythmia diagnostics, as well as nuclear medicine including PET.
Work with us is characterized by high medical quality, a good educational climate, and a strong focus on research and development. At our department, physicians work closely with biomedical analysts, nurses, nursing assistants, physicists, and technical staff.

Job Responsibilities
As a Resident Physician in Clinical Physiology, you will:
- Perform and assess examinations within clinical physiology under supervision. As competence increases, this will be done with increasing independence.
- Work consultatively with referring clinics.
- Participate in development work, quality assurance, and teaching, as well as methodological work under the supervision of a specialist physician.
- Follow a structured residency program in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's goal description.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are a licensed physician with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare, and have completed a basic internship (BT) or general internship (AT).
- Have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. This is a requirement.
Previous experience in clinical physiology or related specialties is meritorious but not a requirement.
You have a strong interest in physiology, technology, and diagnostics, as well as the ability to handle complex information with good judgment in decision-making and action. You communicate and collaborate well, are receptive, and show respectful treatment. Furthermore, you work independently and systematically with a holistic perspective, adapt easily to changes, and have an interest in research and quality development.
