We are growing and are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The role involves full-time on-site work at the customer's location in Arboga. This is a role for you who wants to take significant technical responsibility in an advanced environment where networking, security, and stable operations are in focus.

About the Job

As a Senior Network Engineer at Gatsby IT, you will work with the operation, development, and troubleshooting of advanced network environments. You will become a key person in the delivery to the customer and work closely with both technical teams and the business.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Operation and further development of network infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and incident management
• Configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Work with security, segmentation, and network design
• Documentation and improvement work
• Participation in projects and technical implementations
• Collaborate with the customer and technical teams to create stable and secure solutions

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in networking and infrastructure and are confident in taking technical responsibility. You troubleshoot systematically, work solution-oriented, and keep your cool even when things get complex.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, you need to have:

• Several years of experience in networking and infrastructure
• Experience with automation of network infrastructure
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, and network security
• Experience with environments such as Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar
• Very good knowledge of network services and protocols such as DNS, NTP, TCP/UDP, DHCP, and 802.1x
• Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility
• Swedish citizenship
• Ability to work on-site at the customer in Arboga 100%
• Good ability to document technical solutions and changes
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position is security classified and involves a security check including register control.

Merits

It is a plus if you have knowledge or experience in any of the following:

• Linux and Windows
• Standard services such as AD, web, and similar
• Network services such as DHCP and 802.1x
• Git, Word, and Visio
• Work in security-classified or critical societal environments
