The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home help and home-based health care, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is good at what they do but wants to get even better. We have five care and nursing homes located in different parts of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov are found in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-rich outskirts of the municipality.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to creating a safe and dignified daily life for the people living in our care and nursing home. Here, you will become an important part of the team and contribute to providing care with quality and consideration.

The work involves care and support measures as well as delegated health and medical tasks. During your shift, you are responsible for your own ward but collaborate with colleagues as needed. Since parts of the work are performed independently at night, you need to feel confident working alone.

Your duties include, among other things, personal care, cleaning, laundry, medication management, and being available for residents as needed. The role also involves participating in workplace meetings and other gatherings. You work according to a rotating schedule, serving on both the somatic ward and the dementia ward.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an enrolled nurse (undersköterska) and hold a Category B driver's license. It is an advantage if you also have training as a mental health care assistant and experience with night work. If you have previously worked in service roles or have experience in elderly care, dementia care, or psychiatry, we consider this valuable. You need to feel confident working with delegated health and medical tasks.

At Ulricehamn Municipality, many of our employees speak several languages, which we see as an asset. For this position, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable with documentation and digital work tools.
