About Us
Specialized palliative care is care provided to patients with complex symptoms or whose life situation entails specific needs, delivered by a multidisciplinary team with specialized knowledge and competence in palliative care. The team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Based on the patient's often complex needs and life situation, all professions contribute to optimizing palliative care. As a nurse, you play a vital role in the team.
PRT (Palliative Resource Team) is responsible for patients in need of specialized palliative care who are being cared for in their own homes in the City of Gothenburg, Mölndal, Partille, Härryda, and Öckerö municipalities. PRT operates from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
ASIH (Acute Specialized Inpatient Care at Home) is responsible for patients in the southwestern district of Gothenburg around the clock, seven days a week. Your workplace will be Högsbo Hospital and at the patient's home.
About the Job

Examples of duties include home visits, handling referrals, ward rounds, following up on medication orders, participating in care planning, and coordinating between different professions and care facilities.
The teams are divided into different geographical areas. Specialized palliative care is provided to patients regardless of their housing situation.
We offer you exciting work focused on the patient and their relatives, within a team collaboration with high competence in the field of specialized palliative care. You are offered good development opportunities, education within the specialty, and supervision. The operation is undergoing ongoing development to create safe, secure, and equal care, while simultaneously maintaining a focus on a good work environment.
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with experience in palliative care. Your commitment to the patient group, as well as your knowledge and experience, are central to the team and the development of palliative care.
Qualifications are merited by experience working in specialized palliative care and/or experience in comparable care organizations for specialized palliative care, such as Hospice or other similar operations.
You have excellent ability to collaborate in teams as well as to work independently. You have good pedagogical skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
Travel during work is common; a driver's license is required.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
