At the Social Services Administration, within care and social services, we work based on full-time employment as the norm. We plan with more permanent employees to cover for each other's absences. In part of the area, we are working on a pilot project "Falkenberg's Home Care Model", which is a political initiative to create a more sustainable working environment for home care. The purpose is also to increase continuity for users with a more person-centered elderly care. Here you work with colleagues who have good experience and competence from care and social work.

We are now looking for 2 new colleagues for the home care area East, which includes Hjortsberg and Slöinge!

At Hjortsberg and Slöinge home care, we work together and help each other across boundaries when needed. For your help in your work, there are several professions, such as unit manager, team coordinator, nursing assistant, nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Our focus is on doing what is best so that the user feels safe in their home.

Job Responsibilities

You will work in the user's own home and provide care, social services, and support according to approved assistance. You work from a rehabilitative perspective with an emphasis on dignity and well-being for the user. You should utilize and stimulate the individual's resources and perform medical tasks after delegation by a nurse. Here you work with colleagues who have good experience and competence from care and social work.

In home care, you will also meet team coordinators who plan the work with you to ensure the quality of care and social services for the user.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the right to use the protected professional title). If you are applying for a position as a care assistant, the requirement is that you have a care assistant education (equivalent to 800 credits) and you have passed Swedish 1. If you do not meet the educational requirements for a care assistant, it may instead become relevant to apply for a position as an assistant.

You need to have good computer skills to work in our operational systems.

Since July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to use the title nursing assistant within care and social services.
