Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas, but work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, hopefully providing a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

The current assignment involves stationing at one of our clients. You will be based at the site in Märsta and will primarily work 12-hour shifts, either day or night.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are a confident and stable person who can remain calm even when much is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in interactions with the public, but also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard education and a valid security guard permit
• At least 2 years of experience in the security industry
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• The position is a full-time employment with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English, as well as be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
