About the Role

We are now looking for a Traffic Controller for our operations in Märsta, who will be a key player in our daily operations.

You will ensure that trips are carried out according to plan, handle deviations, communicate with drivers, and optimize vehicle usage. You will monitor statistics and quality, interact with customers and clients, and contribute to a safe and supportive work environment for the entire team.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and ensure all trips are carried out according to plan.
• Handle deviations, such as sick leave, vehicle problems, or traffic disruptions.
• Communicate with drivers, provide instructions, support, and receive reports from operations.
• Optimize vehicle usage for best efficiency and cost control.
• Interact with clients and customers, such as schools, companies, and other employers.
• Monitor traffic statistics, incidents, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, as well as driving and rest times.
• Support operations administratively through reporting and documentation.
• Contribute to a safe work environment and act as a support for drivers in their daily work.
• Participate in on-call duty and handle incidents as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in traffic control, transport management, or a similar role.
• Experience from the transport industry, preferably bus, taxi, or public transport.
• Ability to make quick and well-founded decisions in an event-driven environment.
• Good local knowledge and understanding of traffic challenges in the region.
• Good computer skills and experience with administrative systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
