On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Construction Health and Safety Coordinator (BAS-U) for a consultancy assignment in Stockholm. The assignment is expected to start shortly and last for one year.

About the assignment
For a major infrastructure program, we are seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Coordinator for the execution phase (BAS-U). The assignment covers several sub-projects and involves close collaboration with project management, contractors, and the program's central health and safety function.

As BAS-U, you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring health and safety work during production. The role includes, among other things:

• Organizing and leading health and safety work on the construction site.
• Ensuring that the health and safety plan is drawn up, communicated, and adhered to.
• Reviewing and monitoring contractors' risk assessments, work preparations, and safety measures.
• Coordinating contractors to ensure safe working conditions.
• Leading health and safety meetings, participating in safety rounds, and following up on identified actions.
• Conducting health and safety audits and following up on near misses, accidents, and improvement measures.
• Ensuring that authorizations, competencies, technical inspections, and protective devices meet current requirements.
• Acting as a health and safety support to project management and reporting to the project manager and health and safety officer.

Start: July 1, 2026, or as agreed
End: July 1, 2027
Scope: 50%. From autumn 2026, there is an opportunity to expand the assignment to 100%

Employment type: Employed by Devotum, as the client does not approve subcontractors in this process.

About you
We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 4 years of work experience as a BAS-U in construction and infrastructure projects, of which at least one project must have had a budget of at least 100 million SEK (Note! The budget must be stated in the CV).
• Documented BAS-U training.

The following requirements are meritorious:

• At least 2 years of work experience as an SOA (Track Area Manager).
• Training in contract law, specifically regarding AB04/ABT09.
