About the role

As a driver with us, you work with transporting cars between our facilities, customers, and partners. You often become the person representing Bilsmidigt during delivery or pickup, which makes service, responsibility, and punctuality very important.

The work is varied and suits you if you are independent, flexible, and solution-oriented. Unexpected situations may arise during drives, so we value people who can think for themselves, solve problems, and keep the customer updated in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a driver, you will among other things:

• Plan and book the week's drives in consultation with our team
• Transport cars between our various facilities
• Deliver cars to customers throughout Sweden
• Pick up cars from customers, suppliers, and partners
• Update customers during the journey and plan arrival times
• Test customers' cars according to the test protocol upon pickup
• Document any deviations, damages, or defects
• Solve unexpected problems that may arise during drives

The transports are usually done by driving, but sometimes travel by bus, train, or plane is also involved.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is confident behind the wheel, has a positive attitude, and likes to take responsibility. You need to be punctual, structured, and able to handle customer contact in a professional manner.

To fit the role, you need:

• A B-driver's license for manual cars
• Good driving experience
• Access to your own car to get to our logistics center
• Ability to take on at least 4 drives per week
• Be flexible and available for drives at inconvenient working hours
• Be able to work evenings, nights, and early mornings for longer drives
• Have a clean criminal record (no convictions)
• Be punctual, structured, and responsible
• Have a service-oriented and positive attitude towards customers
• Use the mobile phone in a responsible, traffic-safe, and legal manner while driving.

It is an advantage if you have experience in car transport, customer contact, logistics, route planning, or similar work.

The role starts as an hourly position, but for the right person, there is an opportunity to get more drives, greater responsibility, and eventually grow into a more central role within our logistics operations.

This could, for example, involve responsibility for deliveries, route planning, customer contact, car testing, coordination of other drivers, or other roles within Bilsmidigt.

Employment and compensation

The position starts as an hourly employment with a wage of 130 SEK per hour including vacation pay.

Our logistics center is located away from public transport, which means access to your own car is a requirement.
