JENSEN Gymnasium Eskilstuna is centrally located in Eskilstuna at Rademachergatan 34 and Drottninggatan 4, with close proximity to green areas such as Strömsholmen and Rothoffsparken. We are now looking for you who want to work as a dishwasher/kitchen assistant with an interest in healthy food!

Our meals are prepared in our production kitchen by chefs and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and work actively to utilize raw materials in the best possible way. In addition, you share our thoughts on the importance of protecting children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

The position primarily consists of dishwashing duties, but also includes kitchen assistant tasks with standard responsibilities within the kitchen. As part of our kitchen staff, you have overall responsibility for, among other things, hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at the school, which you take very seriously. You have knowledge regarding the production of café operations as well as sales. In addition, you have a strong desire to brighten the students' day by offering them the "little extra" that your engagement with food can provide.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience from working in a kitchen, as well as education/knowledge in hygienic handling of food and raw materials. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. Personal qualities we are looking for in this position are service-oriented, responsible, meticulous, and flexible.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment with a work time of 86.7% (where you work 8 hours a day to be able to be off during school holidays) starting on August 13th. For this position, we apply a six-month probation period.
