PSRETAIL creates the meeting point between brands and people. As a full-service partner within retail, we design, build, and realize retail and display concepts for an international market. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to combine technical competence with an understanding of design, function, and production.

About the role

As a DESIGN ENGINEER / Constructor, you will become part of our development team, where competencies in interior design, visualization, design, and engineering work together to take ideas from concept to finished solutions. Your task is to translate sketches, design concepts, and customer ideas into technical constructions that work in practice and can be produced efficiently. The role involves both developing new solutions from scratch and further developing existing concepts to optimize function, material selection, production, and assembly.

In SolidWorks, you develop constructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation for retail and display concepts. You work with material selection, function, and production adaptation to ensure that every solution is optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.

The role involves close collaboration with designers, project managers, procurement, suppliers, and production. With your technical competence, you contribute throughout the entire development process and ensure that the final result maintains high quality, meets customer needs, and works just as well in reality as on the drawing board.

Your main workplace is our HQ in Hillerstorp, with the possibility of also working from our office in Jönköping.

Your profile

For us, the most important thing is that you have relevant technical experience and the ability to turn ideas into well-thought-out and producible solutions. Broadly, we are looking for the following in you:

• Experience in engineering, product development, or technical design, and good familiarity with working in SolidWorks or other relevant 3D-CAD tools.
• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing, and assembly, as well as experience in producing drawings and production documentation where function, quality, cost, and manufacturability are balanced.
• Background in, for example, retail fixtures, furniture industry, trade fair and event production, wood industry, metal industry, or other production-oriented activities.
• A solid technical foundation to stand on and a desire to continue developing in a role where design, technology, and production meet.
• A structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented working method, with good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
