Your role

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will work both strategically and operationally within Saab's IT environments. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that security is embedded across all cloud solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor while also being hands-on in our IT environments—balancing long-term security strategies with day-to-day operational excellence. This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working autonomously.

At the same time, you will join us during an exciting phase. The company is currently in a strong expansion phase, undergoing a major transformation towards cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across multi-cloud environments
• Act as a strategic advisor on cloud security architecture and best practices
• Work operationally within IT environments to onboard new functions to the security stack
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure secure solutions
• Drive improvements in cloud security posture, compliance, and governance
• Support incident response and vulnerability management processes

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced IT Security professional with hands-on expertise in one or more of the following platforms:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Microsoft (Azure / Microsoft Cloud services)
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

We also believe you have:

• Solid experience working with cloud security in complex environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
• Experience in both strategic planning and operational execution

Meritorious:

• Experience working with PaaS & IaaS infrastructure deployment, management and security solutions
• Project management skills
• Experience with working in a cross-functional multi-tenant environment
• Experience with deploying and securing agentic AI within an enterprise environment setting

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
