Description

We are looking for a business-oriented Service Specialist with IT support experience who wants to contribute to creating a high service level and a positive user experience. In this role, you will work closely with the business operations and serve as a key contact point for users with varying needs and questions. You will become part of a small team where collaboration, initiative, and responsibility are central to daily work. This role is ideal for you if you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to influence and develop working methods and processes.

Responsibilities

As a Service Specialist, you are responsible for providing user support and handling incoming cases from the business operations. You act as the first point of contact for users and work actively to identify, analyze, and solve problems in a professional and efficient manner. The role also involves ensuring a high-quality service experience through clear communication and a customer-oriented approach. You are expected to contribute to the improvement of internal processes and working methods, as well as collaborate with other teams to find the best solutions for the business. Since the team is small, it is important that you are self-sufficient and flexible, and able to support colleagues in various areas when needed.

QualificationsRequirements
  • Experience with IT first-line support or other service-oriented work.

  • At least 2–3 years of experience from service or customer-facing roles.

  • Experience with case management systems, such as ServiceNow.

  • Experience working according to ITIL methodology.

  • Strong communication skills and experience in building good relationships with users and customers.

  • Ability to analyze problems and find creative solutions.

  • Curiosity and willingness to develop and learn new things.

  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience from business-oriented IT support environments.

  • Experience working proactively to improve service processes.

Conditions
  • Location: Jönköping

  • Employment level: 50%

  • Contract period: 2026-09-01 to 2027-08-31
