Kretslopp Sydost is a municipal association responsible for the collection and treatment of household waste in the municipalities of Kalmar, Nybro, Torsås, Mörbylånga, Oskarshamn, Vetlanda, Uppvidinge, and Sävsjö.

We are approximately 100 employees in various roles, all working towards the common goal of collecting, receiving, and treating household waste in the best possible way. We have exciting changes ahead in 2026. In all member municipalities, we will switch to a new collection system, moving to building-proximity collection with four-compartment bins. At the same time, we are replacing our entire fleet of collection vehicles with brand-new trucks.

As an employee, you are our most important ambassador. We are looking for someone who not only enjoys driving trucks but also understands the value of good customer service and wants to provide residents with the best possible service every day. As a professional driver with us, you will enjoy a varied and active job with a high pace, plenty of movement, and close collaboration with colleagues. Your main task is to collect waste according to planned routes, where each route involves emptying between 250 and 500 bins per day.

The work is supported by navigation and system aids, with all collections and any deviations registered digitally in the vehicle computer. Routes are located both in urban areas and in the countryside. While the work is mostly done alone, we highly value teamwork and always have colleagues nearby. We help each other, share responsibility, and support one another to ensure that work is always performed with high quality and safety.

Qualifications

For this position, a Category C driving license and a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB) are required. However, your personality is equally important. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, is driven, and has a strong desire to contribute and make a difference in daily operations.
