About the role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will work in a team where your goal is to contribute with engagement, clarity, and positive momentum within the organization. To succeed in this role, a strong commercial focus and clear business acumen are required.

Your main responsibilities and areas of responsibility:

  • Customer Responsibility – Drive, develop, and expand business with chains and key accounts within retail, with a clear focus on sales growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Development & Target Achievement – Ensure that budgets, growth targets, and KPIs are met through proactive processing, negotiation, and execution of commercial activities.
  • Commercial Steering – Be responsible for optimizing assortment, campaigns, pricing strategy, and exposure based on sales data, market conditions, and customer potential.
  • Business Analysis & Result Responsibility – Monitor sales, margins, campaign outcomes, and customer development, and identify opportunities for increased turnover and improved profitability.
  • Customer Plans & Execution – Translate overarching channel and sales strategies into concrete action plans, sales initiatives, and customer-specific development plans.
  • Negotiation & Influence – Lead negotiations regarding agreements, campaigns, and assortments with the goal of strengthening both customer relationships and business results.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, assortment, and logistics to create a seamless customer experience.

As a person, you are results-driven, relationship-building, and confident in negotiations as well as in dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders. You are creative, proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated by creating growth and developing businesses. To succeed in this role, you must also be analytical and structured with the ability to quickly identify business opportunities. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team and contributes energy, clarity, and collaboration.

Your qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a KAM role or similar commercial role within retail.
  • Experience in driving sales growth, developing customers, and delivering against set budget and sales targets.
  • Strong business understanding with good knowledge of profitability, margin management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Accustomed to working data-driven and translating analysis into concrete business initiatives and results.
  • Experience in negotiation, campaign planning, and customer development towards retail chains and e-commerce customers.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Merits:

  • Interest or experience in visual merchandising.
  • Experience with chain negotiations, campaign planning, or assortment work.
  • Understanding of how different retail channels function and affect sales.
  • Experience with CRM, BI, or sales tracking tools.
