About the role
We are currently recruiting an interim manager for a higher education institution in Stockholm. You will be responsible for leading, planning, and monitoring operations, as well as having personnel responsibility for the group's employees. The role also includes overseeing budget follow-up and resource planning, ensuring that operations are conducted efficiently and with high quality. You will support employees in their daily work and drive and monitor ongoing development initiatives. Furthermore, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and report to the Section Manager for Premises and Housing Supply.
You will be part of the Housing Supply Group for international students, doctoral candidates, and researchers. The group consists of five employees responsible for housing administration, rental agreements and rent administration, customer service, collaboration with external landlords, and the development of processes and working methods.
Assignment period and scope
This is a full-time consulting assignment starting on 2026-08-10 and expected to run until 2027-02-28, with the possibility of an extension of up to two (2) months.
Requirements for the role:
- At least three (3) years of documented managerial experience with personnel responsibility.
- Documented experience of budget and operational responsibility.
- Relevant academic education or equivalent experience assessed as comparable.
- Experience in leading administrative, service-oriented, or property management-related operations.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to start the assignment no later than August 10, 2026.
- Provide at least two relevant reference assignments that verify your experience.

Merits for the role:
- Experience from universities, colleges, or other government agencies.
- Experience in housing supply, property management, or rent administration.
