Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where a service-oriented attitude and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create flavorful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability.

The role includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist with menu planning and inventory.

Food & Co Alfa Laval in Lund

Food & Co is a staff restaurant at Alfa Laval in Lund serving approximately 700 lunches per day. We are a tightly knit team that has worked together for many years, and we are looking for a chef who can complement our already strong group of employees. Our setup is buffet service, meaning the guest serves themselves, but we also offer traditional à la carte service on plates.

Working hours are Monday–Friday 06:00–14:30.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old.
• You have education in hospitality and restaurant management with a chef focus or equivalent.
• You have prior experience in restaurant work.
• You understand the importance of a pleasant setup and presentation to the guest, despite the high number of portions served daily.
• You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently.
• You take responsibility, through your passion, for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
• You recognize your impact on guest satisfaction, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating.
• You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently.
• You value your colleagues and appreciate a cheerful team with an open atmosphere and strong team spirit.
