You are welcome to apply for this temporary position lasting at least two months, starting at the end of August 2026. Hedvigslund Preschool is located on Anemonvägen in the middle of the Hedvigslund residential area. We are a preschool that puts the child's best interests first and offers pedagogical environments that allow children to meet, explore, play, and be inspired. At Hedvigslund, dedicated educators work to encourage and recognize each child's ability, desire, and will to learn and develop.

In our kitchen, there are great opportunities to develop children's taste universes and offer them a good start in life, as well as a healthy relationship with food, health, and sustainability. Food is so much more than just nutrition! You will receive a clear introduction from our central meal group, which will also support you with menu suggestions, ingredient selection, and purchasing questions when and if you need them.

About the position

The preschool currently has 82 children, 15 educators, and is age-divided into 5 groups where meals are served on the units. The preschool offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, as well as special dietary meals for children who need them. The preschool has a proud tradition of cooking from scratch with a focus on taste, ingredients, and experience. The preschool works to develop the pedagogical meal together with the kitchen staff and educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has documented experience in a chef role, preferably from preschool/school and/or the restaurant industry.
• Views diet and nutrition as an interest both personally and in your professional role.
• Sees the children and their guardians as your guests and meets them with joy, acceptance, and kindness.

This position is a temporary contract starting on August 26th at 90% hours. The temporary contract initially extends two months forward with a possible extension.
