Dematek AB is the market's most comprehensive supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented throughout Sweden, and we are now looking for a new Team Leader / Service Technician for our new workshop and office in Strängnäs. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About you:

You are a natural leader with technical competence and a passion for service. You will lead and inspire a team of service technicians to ensure the highest possible quality and efficiency in our work. You are a problem solver with an eye for detail and a strong sense of customer service. You have good communication skills and can motivate and engage your team. You also enjoy working as a service technician for part of your working hours.

You will be offered a role where you control your working days and plan your work independently, both at the office and out at our customers' sites. We assume you appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our customers' premises, you will perform preventive maintenance, service, and installation of our products such as overhead cranes, hoists, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We are looking for an open person who enjoys frequent customer contact and likes selling both our services and products. To assist you in your work, you will have access to a well-equipped service van, and you will have many colleagues to call upon when you need help.

Your customers will primarily be located in the Mälaren Valley region. You will be based out of the office/workshop in Strängnäs.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Previous experience as a foreman / planner
• Previous experience as a service technician
• Experience with common administrative systems
• Category B driver's license
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship, as some jobs require security-cleared background checks

In the role of Team Leader, it is required that you are meticulous, have analytical abilities, are good at structuring, and are solution-oriented. You are comfortable directing and planning personnel without formal personnel responsibility.

It is an advantage if you have general or limited electrical competence and can program PLCs.

The work is sometimes physically demanding, and since it sometimes takes place at heights, you must be able to obtain a medical certificate of fitness for climbing with significant height differences. Work underground may also occur.

You are meticulous, service-oriented, and thrive in customer contact. We assume that you communicate fluently in Swedish.

The position is full-time.

Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal record as well as a stable and good financial background. At some customers, alcohol and drug tests may be part of their security routines.
