About Us:

Our Food and Cleaning department operates within the municipality's preschools, schools, and care services, handling cooking, meal services, and cleaning. We are now looking to strengthen our team with two chefs.

Your Role:

You are passionate about preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our guests and customers within municipal operations. Your responsibilities include working in our kitchens, such as placing orders, preparing meals in varying quantities (50–500 portions per day), as well as dishwashing, cleaning, and documentation of self-control based on HACCP standards. You look forward to working with us according to the goals, frameworks, and routines of our food and cleaning operations.

Scope of Positions

• A permanent position at 100% with weekend duties within elder care.
• A fixed-term position at 100% within the education sector, running through 2026-12-31.

Qualifications:

Trained chef or equivalent competence assessed by the employer. Experience working in large-scale kitchens (storkök) and with special diets. You hold a valid B-driver's license.

Merits:

• Experience and interest in green kitchen practices.
• Knowledge and interest in vegetarian cooking.
• Experience and interest in sustainable cooking and food waste reduction.
• Proficiency in data entry and experience with dietary software programs.

You view service as an important part of the job, which requires flexibility and, above all, a positive attitude when interacting with colleagues, guests, and customers. You are skilled at communication and collaboration, as we value employee participation in our operations. You are open to change, responsible, and able to take initiative. You also have strong planning skills and logical thinking, as the role requires staying ahead in planning.
