Are you an experienced forklift driver who thrives in a physical and independent high-paced work environment?

We are currently looking for a forklift driver and warehouse assistant for our partner in Gothenburg. The company is an established player in the building materials industry and offers a varied workday where you will handle order processing, material flows, and warehousing at a lumber yard.

In this role, you are responsible for picking and assembling customer orders based on pick lists, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring that the warehouse and lumber yard remain well-organized. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, requiring you to be comfortable with physical labor in varying weather conditions. You will work independently for large parts of the day but are also part of a team where collaboration and helpfulness are key parts of daily life.

Start: Immediately, selection is ongoing
Location: Gothenburg
Scope: Full-time, day shift
Employment type: This is initially a consultancy assignment. For the right person, there are good opportunities for permanent employment with our partner in the long run.

Your Profile

Requirements:

• Previous experience with order picking
• Forklift license and good forklift experience
• Category B driver's license
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Merits:

• Experience from hardware stores, lumber yards, or similar warehouse operations
• Experience handling timber and building materials

We are looking for someone who is confident in their work and accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You have experience with independent warehouse work and understand the importance of accuracy when handling customer orders and materials. As a person, you are humble, practical, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You are not afraid to jump in when needed and have the ability to see what needs to be done without waiting for instructions. Since the work involves heavy lifting and handling of building materials, we expect you to have good physical fitness and thrive in an active work environment.
