In Sweden, ENGEL has been active for over 25 years through its subsidiary in Jönköping. Here, about 20 people work in sales, service, and support. The office serves as a gathering point for the organization and is characterized by close collaboration, short decision-making paths, and a clear focus on quality and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities
In the role of Sales and Administrative Assistant, you play a central part in daily operations, working closely with sales, finance, and other colleagues at the office. You are responsible for ensuring that administrative flows run smoothly and that both order-related and office-related tasks are handled with structure and precision. A large part of the work involves order management, where you take over once a deal becomes an order, track the process in the systems, and communicate both internally and externally. The role also includes office management, where you contribute to the smooth running of the office day-to-day, support during events and visits, and ensure that practical matters are in place. The work is varied and involves many contact points, where you are expected to take responsibility, stay ahead of the curve, and contribute to the big picture.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Order management and follow-up in SAP and Salesforce
- Invoicing of machines and administrative support to finance
- Administrative support to the sales organization in daily work
- Office-related tasks such as office supplies and practical coordination
- Responsible for practical coordination around trade fairs, customer events, and internal visits
- Handling translations and proofreading of materials from English (and sometimes German) to Swedish
Education, experience, and personal qualities
Requirements:
- Experience in administrative work in an office environment, preferably in a sales or support function
- Good system proficiency and confidence in working with business or CRM systems
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Merits:
- Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce
- Previous work in an international organization or industrial environment
