About the Client Company

We are currently looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Technician for an established industrial company just outside Borås. This role is perfect for you who thrive on varied workdays and enjoy practical work with both machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Responsibilities

You will be a key resource in the operations, working to ensure that production and facilities function smoothly through preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects. Examples of typical tasks include:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintenance of facilities and ancillary equipment
• Welding and repair work as needed
• Installation and assembly of equipment
• Participation in improvement and development projects
• Contact with external suppliers and contractors as needed

Working Hours: Daytime, full-time 100%.

Start Date: According to agreement.

Location: Just outside Borås.

Background and Personal Qualities

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Experience in maintenance work within industry, workshops, or facilities
• Good mechanical understanding and experience working practically
• Knowledge of welding
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairs
• Forklift license
• Experience operating scissor lifts/Bom lifts (meritorious)
• Overhead crane license (meritorious)
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
