Leif Åhl Verkstad is a family-owned business focused on service and quality, with the customer always at the center.

Our product range includes self-manufactured items such as bucket elevators, chain conveyors, and belt conveyors. We also handle assembly, new installations, repairs, vulcanization, as well as service and maintenance via our service vehicles.

About the Role

We work both preventively and by solving urgent problems for our customers, which requires you as an employee to be flexible and able to handle daily changes in work tasks. At our company, you will work independently as well as in a team, where we all help each other to complete jobs in the best, most enjoyable, and efficient way possible.

A workday with us may include welding, sheet metal processing, assembly, customer contact, as well as repairs and maintenance at customer sites and in the workshop.

Fieldwork is included in the role, which may involve travel and overnight stays.

We also offer opportunities for internal training.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

• Previous welding knowledge/experience with MIG/MAG welding
• Category B driver’s license
• Experience in workshops, industry, service, or similar
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits for the position include:

• Good technical understanding and practical experience
• Previous experience with machine processing such as milling, turning, sheet metal bending, and control systems Heidenhain/Fanuc.
• Certifications: Category BE, forklift, mobile platforms, safe lifting, fall protection, scaffolding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Previous welding knowledge/experience with MMA welding
