The Role

Your mission will be to lead the company forward with a strong focus on managing our excellent property portfolio while maintaining satisfied tenants and safe, pleasant neighborhoods. You have a strong and genuine commitment to property management and are responsible for the company in accordance with the ownership directives of the City of Gothenburg. As CEO of Familjebostäder, you have overall responsibility for the company's finances, results, and organization, and drive the company's strategic development with a focus on sustainability, social responsibility, and long-term business viability.

You work closely with the board, the city, and other societal actors, and represent the company externally on issues related to housing supply and urban development. As support, you have a management team consisting of ten district and department managers. You are also part of the group management of Förvaltnings AB Framtiden.

Through digitalization and AI, a new customer and case management system, a strengthened customer promise, and long-term investments in both our residential areas and properties, we create even greater value for our tenants.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have relevant academic education and documented experience in leading and developing other managers, preferably in a larger organization or group structure. The role requires experience in initiating, driving, and implementing change work with documented business benefits and sustainable results. It is an advantage if you have experience from an executive role as CEO or equivalent, experience from the real estate industry, and work within a public housing company. Experience from politically governed organizations with a good understanding of the balance between commercial interests and the social mission is an advantage. Experience with and understanding of sustainability issues is also an advantage.

We are looking for a customer-oriented and business-driven CEO with a strong focus on quality, service, and customer satisfaction. You set a clear direction, translate strategy into concrete results, and create engagement through clear and inspiring communication.

You have good analytical skills, make well-founded decisions based on assignments, goals, and finances, and remain steady even in change and under pressure.

We value your ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and build strong and trusting relationships, both internally and externally.

Through a present and coaching leadership style, you develop employees, clarify responsibility-taking at the right level, and utilize the organization's combined competence. You have a strong belief in people's willingness and ability to contribute. As a leader, you create a culture characterized by participation and engagement, where every employee is given the conditions to reach their full potential.
