SPOT (Specialist Psychiatric Nursing Team) is a mobile, planned resource and part of psychiatry's initiative to prevent hospital admissions, reduce inpatient care durations, and offer patients more participation and better outpatient care. SPOT also houses our LARO (Medication-Assisted Treatment) service, which provides treatment for individuals with long-term and severe opioid dependence. We also have an adult psychiatric emergency team that deals exclusively with acute psychiatric cases. We are looking for a Nurse Assistant/Treatment Assistant to join us.

We are a team of 25 employees staffed by nurses, doctors, social workers, treatment assistants, and care assistants with solid knowledge and experience in psychiatry. We are a great team that enjoys working together and focuses on the patient. We offer an stimulating and good work environment. SPOT operates weekdays between 07:30-21:30 and weekends between 08:00-21:00. We have a fixed schedule with a 6-week interval, working every third weekend.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-09-01 or as agreed.

The tasks are varied and include among other things:

• Psychiatric nursing based on patient needs
• Daily coordination
• Supportive and motivational conversations and assessments
• Participation in rounds and treatment conferences
• Documentation and reporting
• Follow-up work
• Delegated medication management and administration
• Performing acute psychiatric assessments in consultation with a doctor or in collaboration with primary care emergency services
• Collaborating with care partners within the county operations as well as with external actors.

• Are educated as a Nurse Assistant or Treatment Assistant
• Have experience in psychiatric nursing
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have a B-driver's license

• Have experience with psychiatric comorbidity
• Have training in Case Management, Motivational Interviewing, and Step 1 training
• Have additional language skills

• Judgment
