We are looking for an experienced, competent, and well-organized warehouse operative who can take responsibility for goods receiving and the daily operation of the warehouse.

This position is part of the Purchasing/Finance Team and reports to the Purchasing/Finance Manager.

The successful candidate must have at least a few years of warehouse experience and be fully competent in handling goods receiving, unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and keeping the warehouse organized, logical, and efficient.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries from trucks and suppliers
• Check goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices as needed
• Immediately report defects, damages, or incorrect deliveries
• Place goods in the correct location in the warehouse
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, tidy, and well-organized
• Maintain logical storage locations and clear warehouse routines
• Assist with stock control, inventory, and stock accuracy
• Perform some lifting and manual handling as part of the job
• Use computer systems correctly for goods receiving, warehousing, and administration
• Work closely with the Purchasing/Finance Team and other departments

Competence and Experience Requirements

• Fully certified forklift driver
• Experience in unloading trucks and handling deliveries safely
• Good understanding of goods receiving and warehouse routines
• Good computer skills
• Physically capable of performing warehouse tasks, including lifting and manual handling
• Organized, logical, and meticulous in work methods
• Capable of working independently and taking responsibility
• Good communication skills
