As a yard jockey (shunter) at Dagab, your main tasks will include:

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.

• Forklift operation, including moving pallets and cages.

• Reversing with trucks and trailers.

The position is based at Dagab's warehouse in Hisings Backa.

OBS: This position does not involve distribution or long-haul driving.

Dagab operates seven days a week during the night. This position is for the night shift, but there may be opportunities to work other hours in the future.

You will work on a rotating schedule averaging 32 hours per week.

• 20:15 - 05:00 (Monday - Friday)

• 22:15 - 05:00 (Tuesday - Friday)

The job begins with two weeks of paid training, with one week scheduled for evenings and the other for nights.

Start date is by agreement.

• Has previous experience in yard jockeying or as a CE truck driver.

• Thrives in a physical and active work environment.

• Forklift license.

• CE driving license.

• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

• ADR 1.3 certificate.

• Forklift training, workplace induction, safety rules, safety briefings, and other instructions are conducted in Swedish, meaning you must have a good command of the Swedish language.

• You must be at least 18 years old to be employed in this position.

We use Verifieras control tool to ensure that current candidates do not have a background incompatible with the position.

• Rear liftgate certificate.

• Experience with forklift operation.

• Experience working as a CE driver or in a similar role.

• Experience reversing with trailers (CE license required).

In this role, it is important that your tasks are performed thoroughly and that you have a high level of engagement and take initiative.

Since the work can be physically demanding, having good physical fitness to work ergonomically correctly is a plus.
