About the role

Ikett is currently looking for a machine operator for an automatic saw for our client in Trelleborg! In the role of automatic saw operator, you will work with a computer-controlled automatic saw, where your main task is to monitor and manage the sawing process. You ensure that raw material is cut according to specified dimensions and specifications to supply the company's processing machines with material of the correct size.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage a computer-controlled automatic saw.
• Ensure that material is sawed according to drawings and production documentation.
• Check dimensions and quality of finished sawed material.
• Follow production plans and safety routines.
• Perform simple maintenance and care of the machine.

The position starts immediately!

Working hours: Two shifts.

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in industry or production, preferably as a machine operator.
• Is technically interested and accustomed to working with computer-controlled machines.
• Is meticulous, quality-conscious, and responsible.
• Has good teamwork skills but can also work independently.
• Is available for an immediate start.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with sawing, machining, or work within the plastic industry.
• Forklift license or crane license.
