We are looking for an engaged and solution-focused property caretaker (bovärd) for our area office, which will soon be moving to Solna. The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

You will be based at our office currently located in Vällingby, but we are soon moving to new, beautiful premises in Solna. However, much of your working day will be spent out in our properties. The property portfolio is mixed, consisting of both new production and older buildings spread over a relatively large geographical area around Stockholm.

As a property caretaker with us, you are the one keeping an eye on the property and ensuring that our tenants continue to receive excellent service. Your main tasks are to troubleshoot, repair, and rectify faults that arise in our customers' apartments.

Willhem Stockholm is in an expansion phase where we plan to grow the number of properties in the coming years. Our organization in Stockholm has a high ceiling and a high level of employee satisfaction.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining good relationships with tenants, contractors, and employees.
  • Performing systematic rounds according to a set schedule.
  • Conducting inspections upon move-out and move-in.
  • Planning and executing repairs and ongoing maintenance.
  • Handling service reports, complaints, and claims, and following up with the tenant.
  • Ordering and following up on property supplies and minor contracting work.
  • Performing supervision of ventilation, heating, and electrical systems in our properties.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience and interest in working with customer-oriented property work. We would like you to have some education focused on technology and/or property. You are a handy problem solver with good knowledge and experience in at least some of the areas: plumbing, apartment inspections, SBA (building maintenance), round work, construction, or electricity. You should be accustomed to working in computer systems, and a B-driver's license is required.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a property caretaker, you are Willhem's face to our tenants. Therefore, it is important that you are communicative and customer-focused. We are looking for someone who is responsible, can prioritize, and has drive. You are welcome to bring ideas on how we can improve in your area. You have good ability to work independently but function equally well in a group, as we place great emphasis on collaboration and helping each other. Our goal is to deliver really good service to our tenants while being business-minded. We are looking for someone who enjoys customer contact and likes the challenge of finding solutions that benefit both the customer and the company.
