Unit

The Defence Materiel Administration's Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is now looking for you who want to contribute to the continued development of Military Base Arboga and help strengthen Sweden's defence capability.

You will contribute to reducing the effects of security threats against the Swedish Armed Forces and reducing the Armed Forces' own vulnerabilities, as well as working preventively through security intelligence services and security-enhancing measures.

 

About the Unit

The position is currently located at the Security Department, which today is part of the Garrison Unit and the upcoming Military Base Arboga. The department's and unit's task is to coordinate the Swedish Armed Forces' various joint unit operations within Military Base Arboga, such as local utilization, security service, and mobilization. Main Responsibilities

In the role of case officer for the Security Department at the upcoming Military Base Arboga, you will work with varied tasks. This requires an open mind and the ability to work flexibly to adapt to new tasks and conditions.

The work is based on the Security Protection Act, which means working with security protection planning and structure by, among other things, processing and compiling intelligence and security-related information and producing reports.

The work also includes other tasks such as security checks, access control systems, card administration, and supporting the unit's managers with tasks such as administrative issues and assisting in the development of internal guidelines and routines.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Qualifications

  • Approved upper secondary education or education that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Driver's license with at least category B (manual transmission)
  • Experience in security and intelligence services
  • Experience in security checks/investigations

Merits

  • Experience of working in public operations or authorities
  • Experience with the IT system PRIO (SAP)
  • Good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing in English
  • Completed SOC, or other relevant training at FM UndSäk C
  • Completed basic military training
  • Previous/current employment in the Swedish Armed Forces
