About Us

Widegrens Gård conducts organic and KRAV-certified cultivation of carrots, onions, and potatoes. We have our own packing facility where we wash, sort, and pack our products. In addition to vegetable cultivation, we also engage in other plant cultivation.

We currently have approximately 45 employees who work year-round, supplemented by summer and seasonal staff.

About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us during this year's potato harvest. The work runs from early August to mid-October.

You will work outdoors in the fields, standing on a potato harvester under a shelter. The potatoes come on a conveyor belt where soil and stones are sorted out. The work is practical and takes place in close cooperation with the rest of the team, which usually consists of 2–4 sorters and one tractor driver.

The job suits you if you enjoy working outdoors, are detail-oriented, and can maintain focus throughout the workday.

Working Hours

Weekdays, daytime. Start approx. 06:00–08:00, end approx. 15:00–17:00. There is an opportunity to work part-time and combine the position with studies or other work. However, on the days you work, you must be able to work full shifts.

Requirements

To apply for the position, you need:

To reside on Gotland (we unfortunately have no possibility to offer housing)
To be able to get to our various fields in central Gotland by own car, motorcycle, or carpooling (public transport does not work for the job)
The ability to perform work in the fields and on machinery safely, which requires good physical mobility
To be non-smoking as we are a smoke-free company

Salary and terms according to the collective agreement between Livs and Gröna Arbetsgivare.
